Cisco Course
Descriptions:
ICND:
Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices
5 Days
Exam #640-507 - CCNA
This course is designed to teach network administrators, implementers,
and managers how to configure Cisco switches and routers for operation in
a multi-protocol network. This class presents the concepts and practices
required for any job function involving interaction with Cisco
interconnect switches according to a certain specification, and configure
routers, switches and access lists.
BSCN:
Building Scalable Cisco Networks 1.0
5 days
Exam #640-503 - Routing
The BSCN course is designed for experienced network administrators,
network specialists, and technicians who need an understanding of the more
complex commands for router configuration. Students will gain hands-on
experience with extended access lists, VLSM, OSPF, EIGRP, ISDN, and route
redistribution. They will also learn how to connect remote office routers
in a WAN and demonstrate end-to-end connectivity, as well as managing
routers and routing behavior in a multiprotocol environment.
BCMSN:
Building Cisco Multi-layer Switched Networks
5 days
Exam #640-504 - Switching
This class teaches network administrators how to
build campus networks using multi-layer switching with various forms of
high-speed Ethernet, and also how routing and switching technologies work
together. IP multicast technology will be introduced in this course.
Students will have the ability to implement the necessary services at each
layer of the network to all users, and control network traffic by
implementing the necessary admission policy at each layer of the network.
When presented with an incorrectly working mult-layer switched network,
they will be able to rectify proper network operations.
BCRAN:
Building Cisco Remote Access Networks
5 days
Exam #640-505 - Remote Access
This will prepare the student to work in a dial-access environment.
Experience hands-on labs working with Network Address translation,
Dial-on-Demand routing, Asynchronous to Asynchronous access and reinforce
learning with hands-on labs. This course prepares the student for the CMTD
or the BCRAN Cisco certification test.
CIT:
Cisco Internetwork Troubleshooting
5 days
Exam #640-506 - Support
Networking professionals will learn the processes used on Cisco routers
and Catalyst switches using a standard problem-solving model. They will be
able to resolve network problems in TCP/IP, Novell, and AppleTalk
environment. Students will also learn how to baseline and troubleshoot an
environment using Cisco routers and switches for multiprotocol client
hosts and servers connected with Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Token Ring LANs,
and others.
